The Staff Development Office of PK announces workshops organized jointly by NAWA – MSCA Contact Point Poland South-Eastern Region together with the National Contact Point for the "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" Actions program of NAWA, titled: "Career Planning for a Scientist – From Competencies to Action

Workshop Description
Spotkanie rozpoczniemy wystąpieniem dr Aleksandry Góreckiej, przedstawiciela Narodowej Agencji Wymiany Akademickiej (Krajowy Punkt Kontaktowy ds. programu Działania „Maria Skłodowska-Curie”) na temat programu MSCA.
The main workshop session will be led by Dr. Katarzyna Świerk, Director of the Science Office at the University of Gdańsk.
The training will take the form of interactive workshops, during which participants will work both individually and in teams. The goal of the meeting is to support researchers in planning their career development by analyzing their existing competencies, identifying areas that require improvement, and creating an action plan for the next 12 months. Participants will become familiar with the European framework of researcher competencies and learn about tools and resources that support career development in research. Part of the training will be dedicated to working on real and fictional researcher profiles to practice identifying competencies and planning strategic actions. Each workshop segment will conclude with a moderated discussion and an exchange of best practices.
Who is the training intended for?
The training is intended for early-career researchers: doctoral students, postdocs, early-stage academic staff, and individuals planning to apply for grants, engage in international research projects, or develop skills related to managing a research career.
